Dyno Day this Sunday in Allentown, PA - $40 - Anyone going??
Like the title says, this Sunday the 19th there is a dyno day in Allentown, PA. It is $40 for 2 pulls, no tuning. Here is the info:
http://lvimports.net/showthread.php?t=7193
What?
LVI/Sloppy Mechanics (north and south) dyno day hosted by DP Inc.
Where?
http://www.troydiehlpaving.com/
Diehl Paving Inc.
1712 Hoover Avenue
Allentown, PA 18109
info@troydiehlpaving.com
Allentown: (610) 264-7311
When?!
Sunday, October 19th.
afternoon (tenative time possibly noon start time or later)
OMG How much?
Right now its looking like 40 dollars for 2 pulls.
this is not a tuning session, this is just to see what your car puts down.
i dont mind if you are swapping between boost levels or tunes quickly, but if you start taking up too much time. DP inc reserves the right to charge you more for hogging dyno time you greedy bastard. A sign in sheet will be at the dyno for you to get your name down so we know who is next etc.
Staff will be strapping and driving your car on the dyno, you can set a speed/rev limit for the driver. to watch out or boost cutoff etc. otherwise if you dont like how cody drives it, or i strap it you can get off the dyno.
area around dyno will be roped off, if you enter without permission we might shoot you or hose you down with a C02 fire extinguisher.
bringing food and hot chicks will probably get you VIP seating/perks
*speak with timmy(disco) for details
RACE GAS MAY BE AVAILABLE.
i have to check with tim on price and whatnot
but dont count on it.
a few miles east of the dyno is US fuels in new jersey who sells CAM2 Leaded 110 octane.
more details and whatnot will be added as they come in.

I'll be there strapping down cars as before.
here are some videos from previous dyno days:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etCcw2Nd4sQ
(you can see at around 1:55 why the dyno area will be roped off. apparently the dyno didn't like the instant surge of torque from a turbo 3.8L)
http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=502662591286
(may need to be in facebook to watch the 2nd video)
we usually do ~15 cars but can easily expand to more.

ha my 383 was torn down years ago. I just haven't had the cash to finish my latest build. my other vehicles keep breaking and house work takes up my time.
if you guys want better updates check this out:
