New N/A Best 9.59@138!!
Went to a track rental at Atco yesterday with the Cartek crew and ran a new personal best.
Breakdown of the run:
60' 1.30
330' 3.87
1/8 6.06
mph 111.56
1000' 7.97
1/4 9.59
mph 138.8
Huge thanks to Kyle for towing me down there (yes I was actually on a trailor )
Thanks to Barry for lending the trailor!
Thanks to Rick for letting me buy dinner!
Of course thanks to Julio and his laptop and the Cartek crew!
Bruce said he has some video so I'll work on getting that from him.
Made around 11 or 12 runs, took 2 passes to get the suspension right for the track conditions and most of the remainder of the runs were all in the low 9.6's and of course the 9.59 pass.

Were you in the car when I was talking to Kyle? If you were then why the **** was he more excited than you?!?! LOL!
Awesome. I have to make sure next time at the track I actually sit back and WATCH you, Rick, Barry, PJ, & Kyle (almost there!). QTP for sure.
Congratulations is an understatement.
I'm sticking by my choice to make a comfortable & fast sleeper street car....but this is getting ****ing rediculous!

Thanks alot guys.
Ken, haha yeah Kyle was pretty excited, I was too beleive me!
Brad, yeah I know the mph is lower-you've got the solid roller so you're better up top.
Plus the weak 60' will increase your mph as well.
Steve, when are the next rentals, if I don't race I'll still go to hang out.

Just kidding bro' ,haha Thanks man!
JL, conditions were very similar to last week, maybe even a tiny bit warmer BUT the track was PREPPED very well.
I normally run my front shocks at "5" with the limiters at 3" travel.
Yesterday I had to set the fronts at "10"! Friggin' 10. First 2 runs were "interesting" to say the least.

I wish the track was the same at Etown last saturday as it was for pinks allout. Id have been doing the same thing, probably tightening the limiters up a notch and the shocks if it was, but it was terrible, honestly the worst starting line I've run on all season.
LVD's starting line, 10 times better then what we had last saturday, I am 100% sure that had the line been like it was at pinks, you guys would have been in the high 1.2x range, and I'd have popped off a couple 1.35's if not better with the changes I made (it was going 1.37 @ lvd last time I ran it so I know what I did worked)
I made one change to the tuneup in the car before going down last saturday and the car was running the back 1/2 of the track a full tenth to a tenth and a half faster, and on average 1.25 mph faster then it did last time I went to LVD, the 60 foot times were almost a full tenth slower though, making the whole 1/8th time a tenth slower as well.
If the track was there, I think a 9.3 could have been possible.
Oh well, always next year.
