New FI for Speedy!
Well, I have been in the market for a long while and finally found exactly what I wanted. It's a 2004 GMC Sierra SLT, 2500HD with the Duramax/Allison combo...70,720 miles on the clock! Took delivery today. If I can get a brake controller and wiring harness tomorrow I will have it at Atco over the weekend! This truck is ****-Tons better than my previous truck... on with the Pictures:
Place of Purchase:
Unfortunately not My Maserati:
Hmph.. not my $400K Bentley either, this one's going to VT. Hey there's my old Silverado 1500 in the background:
Here it is:

Way to go with the downsizing trend there Todd. LOL!
Lemme guess....gas/diesel down from the top 1.50-ish/gallon = add 1,000 lbs and 12" of wheelbase to your truck.
Nice setup and good luck! Time for a 2 car trailer!

I stand corrected, the $400K car was told to me to be a Bentley by one of the workers there, It's a Rolls Royce! I wasn't paying that much attention, I was just happy to be getting my 4 door, turbo diesel truck!

[QUOTE=Speedy0009;10390248]If I could use a bank for my mod money without finance charges I would.. LoL but I refuse to do that with mods so I must pay cash!
A few payments would be the cost of the cage

Well you're certainly not wrong about that! It would take 3-4 payments depending on the cost of the cage!
I really want to go tens before the cage that way I know it's worth it! I've raced three days this season, about 14 passes total now and only once I have gone under 11.49 with an 11.45. I just can't justify the cage until it's a solid high ten, low low eleven second car!
On another note, I just took out about 130-170lbs. Passenger seats, fuel tank brace, some v-brace under the spare tire, skid plate. Leaving for Atco tomorrow early evening!

But yes, trailer just over a month ago and now the tow rig. I can now go to the track whenever I want without having to borrow someone's rig (my brother's) although his is badass with the big lift and such, I didn't want to be the one to have something go wrong with it while 6 hours away. His Allison tranny has been slipping occasionally on the highway from the added power mods!
