New motor iron 370 & run maybe 12psi, weight redux with the old motor out is much easier: heater, excess wire, air bag, etc. Should have it done in a couple months.

Race car will probably be staying in the trailer this summer... I want a bigger garage before I put any $$$$ into the race car. Maybe port the blower on the Cobra to hold me over for the season.

Asp crank pulley, Heads still not sure which to go with. Then fast 92 set up. A good tune.

After those I should be good for a while. Everything else is done.

Goals..

11.50 at 123 n/a... If I achieve this goal, I'll never go back to a ford again, I mean 123 mph in a 3600 pound car with a 346.. While maintaining full stretchability.

10.99 at 130 on 150 shot... Yes I know it should do better on a 150, but I'd be happy with a 10 anything.

Corsa sounds great on LSXs. Does a G8 have true duals?

Collecting parts, that will either make it onto this car, or for another project

Probably won't move the car an inch this year, it did everything I wanted it to do last year and I could go run 9.50 index with it just as it sits, set of valve springs and a new set of tires just for the sake of changing them and go... but I have a couple changes I'd like to make to the car first... unless it sells, in that case I have a line on a clean 98 v6 firebird hardtop manual everything car that I'll strip and build with the goals a little more clearly defined from the get go.

Either way doesn't matter to me at this point, I'm in no rush.

Have alot of stuff I wanna do around the house this summer and it's all time consuming big projects, some of which I'm not really looking foreward to.. Like digging up about 1/2 my back yard to put some drainage pipes in so the spring will run off rather then soaking my whole back yard like it does now.

Chances are, I'll be digging in the back yard for 1/2 the summer. Will be a good weight loss plan though

hmmm lets see... well im away at school most of the off season plus i dont have heat in my garage yet so i wont be doing this stuff until late spring early summer... but i got a few things i have started working on...

VFN Reg Sunoco Pin on Hood (already came in and is resting on top of the motor...)
A/C Delete (havent started)
EGR/AIR Delete (started but not finished)
Front bumper support delete (finished)
lightweight battery (havent purchused yet)
LCA's + relo brackets (not purchused yet)
SFC's (not purchused yet)

Goals for the end of 09 are:

3200lbs or lessraceweight
12.2x pass
1.65 or less 60ft

i think there is some other things im forgetting... since i have been home working on cars at sullivan tire i havent paid much attention to the LT1, im always sick and tired of wrenchin by the time i get home from 9 hours of tires, alignments, brakes, tie-rods, LOF's, etc... plus i got to do two rear quickstruts on my beater and give it a tune up... oh and pay for insurance on the beater for the year... so im pretty much moneyless until summer... plus working on a 14 year old car in a blistering cold cramp garage dosent sound too appealing to me at the moment...

im hoping to drive the car a bit more next summer, she was more of a track only car last year. and i hope to hit the track a good 5 or so times but i hope to drive the car more on the street and actually enjoy it...

Just installed a set of 2-pt UMI SFC's, adjustable panhard bar and LCA's the other day. I have a PRO 5.0 shifter and some new tranny fluid ready to go in whenever it warms up a bit. other then that possibly a set of kooks or ARH when i get my taxes back. Also the car REALLY needs a new clutch master, but im not looking forward to putting it in.

yeah its a true dual but...the factory set up is super restrictive manifolds, terrible 90* bend before the cats, then it goes into a 5 foot long muffler, splits goes into 2 bullet resonators, then into some of the most restrictive flowing stock muffler barrels ever. If you ever wondering why the G8's are so damn quiet. that plus the ****** DOD cam

Mine sells, then you'll see. You can take a ride down and see the progress once I'm started, for the most part I'm gonna just keep it quiet.
