Took about 6 months when it was apart, then from the time I start working on it over the winter to the first track pass, it's usually 6 months.

I don't plan on moving it an inch this sesaon at all, so it will be well over a year, unless it sells in that case never again

But, that also opens the door for the next project which will be fun, and it will be driven even less then this one. But, when it's driven it will be for a shorter amount of time for sure

When I was recovering from cancer, April till Mid june last year when the weather was GOOD!! That was the killer, plus the car was running and making great power.

Before that I parted my 383 LT1 car in went from most of 2005, all of 2006 until dec of that year w/o an Fbody, since I parting one and I got my 2002.

about three weeks now. snow will have that effect when your driveway has a slope. as well as the snow laying on it just pisses me off so i just walk past it and hop in my truck

My car has been sitting in my garage for over 6 months, in phoenix where it would be PERFECT to drive right now. Due to the motor swap & crankshaft threading complications I still havent had the chance to use 2.00 premium gas in this bitch.

Haha

When I bought my car in 2006 the clutch was shot. I bought a new one and put it in, then the next day I went driving and the tranny got locked into fourth gear and never came out. The car was out of commission for over two months before I had the money to buy new parts for a rebuild. Luckily my brother knows how to rebuild them and did it for free, otherwise it would have been at least six months before I had the money to buy a whole new one or send it out to get it rebuilt somewhere else.

But now over two years later my new MN12 trans is broken and the car's been off the road for over a month. He's gonna rebuild this one but with us getting snow every other day, I've had very little motivation to pull the trans on a cold garage floor since I won't be able to drive it for another 2-3 months. And I'm also hesitant about putting a fresh trans into a car that's always given me clutch/tranny issues.

Lets see, I totaled the Camaro in march i think then got the Trans Am some time in April and drove it for a week then haven't driven it since then. So its been like 9 months. Im contemplating picking up a C5 or another fbody this summer. I miss driving fast cars to much.
