The VooDoo That I Do!!!!!! New PB!!!
Well I finally got my new personal best so far and I have to say I am damn happy about it....first off...a little info on the car.
1998 Firebird Formula M6 race weight 3560lbs w/ me
Lunati VooDoo Cam 222/228 .567"/.567" 113 LSA
Fast 90/90 (Not Ported)
March Pulleys
PRC Dual springs
90mm Nitrous Daves Plate kit
Dynatech Stepped Longtubes 1 3/4-1 7/8
My own Custom true dual into an x pipe and then over the rear axle w/ bulletts
LS7/LS2 flywheel/clutch
STOCK806 heads
STOCKBlock except for the cam w/ 85,xxx on it
Midwest Chassis Fab. 9" w/4.11, Backbraced, Nodular Iron case
15x10 Prostars w/28x11.5x15 ET Streets/15x3.5 Greg Welds w/ 26x4.5x15 ET Fronts, tire prssure was at 16psi rear/42psi fronts
Hurst Billet Plus Shifter with my own custon short throw.
Differant belt to bypass the power steering pulley
My best time today was a 11.70@119 with a 1.63 60ft.
That was after about 3-4 passes ranging from 11.9 to 11.79, I was launching the car at around 6K RPM, but it still felt like the car was bogging just a little.
I think with some more practice and a 1.5 60ft I might be able to see an 11.69 or better!!!
I did do one nitrous pull, that ended up with a 11.444@125 with a 1.73 60ft. I also had my NOS controller on a 0.9 second delay before activation and the car really bogged bad on that run.
All in all I'm very happy with the results of my little cam and very very happy to finally say my car does 11's consistantly.
Here's the timeslip...I'll try to get some vids up later. I have none of the 11.70 but I do have the nitrous one and a 11.78 and others.

Thanks everyone...it's been a long time coming thats for sure. The new Midwest Fab. 9" is what really made it happen for me (confidence booster ). But I'm not done yet, I think she has just alittle more in her and the N2O will be the next thing to get dialed in.
