Default BOOOM!!!!!! Yup thats what she did tonight :(

BOOM! Well it appears something in the driveline went BOOM! I was going out to a local hangout on the highway and I accelerated in a clearing in 4th gear and as the rev's got higher it went BOOM and I was like oh **** I hit the rev limiter. Shifted into 5th gear, nothing just revved, put it in 6th and it revved, then almost every gear even 1st gear while going 40-50mph. So I drift to a stop and as i'm going F**K F**K etc etc you get the point. While sitting still with the engine running and revving it I could shift into all gears and the speedo wouldn't move no matter how much I revved the car. So trailered the car home and jacked it up. Turning the rear I can feel a rough spot, not a grinding but rougher. You can feel a difference when putting the car into gear with rolling the rear tires and hear the trans moving in gear. So the car is down, not sure what it is and REALLY REALLY NOT HAPPYE RIGHT NOW!!!!!

ehh, i know how you feel .I snapped an axle earlier this week on the street. Was not a fun tow home. On top of that, every bump we hit the car alarm would go off because I had the car locked.

if looking for a winch i bought the harbor freight one for 45 bucks. when i bought i figured i would get a couple uses out of it. well been holding up for a couple years now. it is slow but sure beats pushing.

Wow that sucks, not worse than my sprained knee I just suffered this weekend down the shore. If you need to drag it over I have a torque tube on the shelf and have a trans but not real confident with the trans needs to be looked at and stock 342 rear on the shelf until you find a beefy rear. Let me know if you need a hand.

Corvette driveline sucks and hate having the car down so try to stay stocked. Spare parts are good if you can use them on your car. Stocking crap in the garage you`ll probably never use for the birds.
