Default LOL Funny stuff. Burnt orange SN95.

Funny thing happened on the way up to Epping. This dude in a burnt orange SN95, clear marker lights, riced out hood etc. was making like he wanted to race. It was on 95 North between dedham and Newton. I'm an old responsible (sort of) **** so I really don't street race.

This guy gets on it anyways and he musta been looking at me in his rear view mirror, cuz he came damn close to rear ending a car that had just changed lanes in front of him. That's not even the funny part!

So he goes around the car and gets back on it. Suddenly, his fancy assed ricer hood flies ******* wide open! ROFL! Parts flying everywhere.

The ******* hood smashed right through his windshield! He made it off the side of the highway safely and I was in a hurry to get to the track so I didn't bother stopping. Too funny!

Dude, if you're out there. Next time, fasten that ******* hood before ya hurt yaself!

I was laughing my *** off as I drove by. Seeing him crouched down trying to see where he was going OMG! Definitely a Kodak moment!

Always made me weary of hood pins even tho its probably a better system than the factory latch...

I had a hood fly up back in the day, it was on my 340 Duster. I had the hood ajar cuz I was driving with a "hand throttle". The throttle cable snapped and I was trying to make do with a piece of rope attached to the linkage.

Fortunately, I slammed on the binders before any damage was done. I tried it again with the hood latched and drove 30 miles like that. It wasn't easy driving a stick with my left hand out the window working the throttle! lolz

I still haven't raced it. I went up there twice in the past couple weeks but it rained.

The car feels pretty fast and I'm getting used to the converter. It kind of feels like the car is power by a really big, wound up rubber band.

Welp, that sucks, but it happens. I think he must live the life of "Never Lift Racing" and those are the morons that often get other people killed or in their case, wreck out their cars regardless of the looks.

Did you bring your car to the track with the 6 speed? It would be interesting to see the improvement just swapping the manual for the stalled auto.

Yes I did. I was only able to muster 12.6x @115 with a 2.0 60 ft. It was hot and humid that day. The car wouldn't power shift cuz of the shitty clutch mechanism not reacting to my foot fast enough. High RPM granny shifting is about the best I could do.

I expect a full second improvement if it hooks and the air is reasonable.
