Having been to both (though its been about 10 years since I was at ESTA), LVD is a nicer facility. I haven't had the time to go unfortunately since June, and also the car needs a new clutch to really make the best of it. But you'll have fun and there's always a few LS1 guys there.

i went to lvd about a month ago for their outlaw race and after seeing the track prep and the facilities esta seems like a joke, but its close.... anyways i wont be going tomorrow they're calling for rain alllllllll dayyyyy .... but soon i will go there!!

Hey Aaron, sorry to hear...I mean, Congratulations!!!!

They sure did manage to get LVD fixed up quick, which is great. I was up there Wednesday for street night. 1st elimination pass I treed the other guy and then broke out by .005. I'll be there for the rental on the 18th.

Track prep there is a Joke. I was hooking launching on street tires fro a 4k launch but spinning all the top of first and all of second and breaking a little in 3rd....track prep sucks.

Track prep is known to be suspect on Wednesday nights, probably because not many really fast cars come out. With Nitto drags and ~250 rwhp traction is not really an issue for me.

yah, for 412rwhp that track is a joke for wensday nights. No traction at all...and the cooler it got the worse it got.

Car was a little off, running 13.9x when it's gone 13.7x in similar weather. I tried running street class and broke out on my first elimination pass. Should have lifted, rookie mistake.

I would have been all set to go, but they recalled my clutch basically and I still haven't gotten the new one. Then I gotta break it in, haha.
