Thumbs up ** Cartek 4-XS heads and cam 346 results - 522+rwhp **

We just finished up and new heads and cam combination and thought we'd take a moment to post it up for everyone.
It's a new approach.

This setup is not for everyone. We should be hitting the track with it soon.

The car is a Trans-Am with a manual transmission. The heads are in-house modified TFS, the camshaft is our own 4-XS camshaft.

And the bottom end is still a stock 346....we know it's pushing it.

The customer wanted to remain anonymous for now, I'm sure he'll poke his head in here soon though.

Enjoy.

Wow, those are some serious numbers from a naturally aspirated 346!

That's the problem, no more skilled 'shifters' around anymore, you know anyone/have someone in mind at all?

That's making good steam and should run like a ****... I'm intrested to see how long the stock pistons/rods will stay together at that level/rpm.

From what I hear he can't shift his way out of a paper bag...

If anything I may have to take a few passes in it... If he lets me, that is.

That's the only thing you've rowed gears in the past year. You might be a bit rusty.
Mike/Mark and I will volunteer to row some gears. We'll show you how that 3rd pedal doesn't get used. Haha!
