New England Dragway this Saturday
Hi,
This weekend on saturday we've got a bunch of camaro's, vette's and other GM's going up to New England dragway from here in RI. Were trying to get a nice turnout so if anyone close by is interested, come on up!!!! Its going to be sunny and cool, so good power and good traction will be on tap!!!

i think i will be there for the first time this season. i might bring my vett (not sure yet) but my main thing is to help a noyzee racing boy get his car down the track with a little spray (and i meen little spray, First time out)
i wont be there to long as i have a b-day to go to around 4 ish and its 2.5 hours away

dammit i want to go so bad! im gonna be home (haverhill) tonight and tomorrow but then i need to come back to school to take a test friday... should be a fun time of racing with great cool weather. mike u get that coolant issue worked out? noyzee whos the newb? first time ever making a pass?or first time ever on spray? either way whoever it is they r gonna have a hell of a time! i remember my first passes. i felt like a kid on christmas!

yep i got it fixed......found out there were a couple of issues. 1. The bracket holding up my plug wires broke and two of them fell on the headder and burnt all they way through to the core. (Which explains why the car was trying to stall after that last run.) Second the passangers side head gasket was bad and was bleeding compression off of the #2 cylinder into the cooling system. I pulled the heads off and went thinner on the gasket so now I have 13.9:1 instead of 13.2. Also I put ARP Pro Series Head Studs on it and I made a custom set of the 11mm Moroso Ultra 40 sleeved wires for it. I've been driving it around and its running great. I already put about 150 street miles on it. Plus it feels wayyy faster than before even with four mufflers and only 30 degrees of timing. My buddy has one of those GTech things and I tried it on street tires. It said I went a 11.87 @ 127.4 in street trim with a mild tune. So well see what happens friday and saturday.

nice! im glad the block wasnt the issue. yea IMO those Gtech things r garbage. with the awesome weather we should be having, esp on fri night. if u can hook up i bet u will run a new personal best. make sure u get some vids! since i cant be there to see it in person!

Saturday, CMDR is running our September raceday program at NED as well.... then we've got just 2 race dates left in October. We're expecting a large turnout Sat.-- especially w/bragging-rights air in the weather forecast, and a tight points program going on.....see you up there..... WJ

quik, nope, it was for ken from east side, but its been moved to another date so i will be there all day.
im thinking we are going to do a run on motor, log the new tune see how she is.
the car is close to max rpm on motor right now and it still has a loose motor converter in it so we will probably pull a degee or 2 of timming, hit it with a 50 shot and log it, see what it does and where the rpm is going through, then bump it to a 75 if its not reving to high then to 100 if we still have room. im thinking rpm wise 75 is all we will be able to spray and even then i think she will be singing 6,500 or so. im thinking the car if she hooks should run high 10's with a 50 shot once we gear it and hit it with 125 or 150 i think 10.3-10.5 are in the bag
