Default New Ride for Anonymous!

OK Ladies,

I have been holding out until I made my debut at the Corvette Challenge this weekend.

I bought a C5 ZO6.
It has a Cartek built 427 with Two stages of N2O.
A 150 shot on the bridge and a Direct Port 250 shot.
That is a total of 400 for the math challenged. (Shrek).
It was converted to an Auto and has a rear mount TH400 with a Tek-Trans brake. lol.

It should go high nines on the motor, but the car is really set up for the spray, tight converter, tall gearing and everything. (Sound familiar?)

Best of all...it has a roll bar.

Buzz Kill: I went to race yesterday and they said the safety harness had expired!!!
They wouldn't even let me slide for the one event, the belts are like brand new.

I got stuck in the Brackets running, now don't laugh.....11.50!!!!-
I was learning the car and all that anyway.
NA, the car was going 6.6's at a little over 104 in the 8th.
That equates to about 10.30's in the 1/4.
That was with weak 1.57 60's.
The car pulls hard in the second 330'.

I still have to dial her in.
That was all off the foot brake.

The bad news, it's not a Cage and I am tapped out for cash as you can imagine.

Maybe I can get QTP to sponsor me?--

Nice sounding ride... now get a 10 pt in that thing and hit it with the gusto, see what she's made of!

And get ready for your lic runs too, as you're now gonna need it all

No more holding out, get your safety stuff taken care of, sounds like you have a man's car now, time to man up with the safety goods!

First, I am so happy for you buddy. I know and appreciate all the interest you have on our Corvette series and am ecstatic you went out and got a ride to join us.

If you have pics and don't know to do with them send them to me and I will host them for you or you can just upload them to yoru "garage" right here.

there are a lot of pics of the car here at this site as the previous owner, Jerry Land, won a lot with it

Look at the bottom the Serious Street winner

Thanks Buddy.
Racing only 4 times per year was getting old.
Now I can race in the QTP series & the Corvette Challenge Pro-10 DI.

I will try to get you some still pictures of the car.
Thanks for posting the other ones.

87, more pic are on the way.

JL, I have the license already, but it will be a while before I will have the dough to do anything else.

FireHawk, I have to bring the Camaro for the points race for the 11.50 Index.
But you will see it soon. Next time you are Cartek, stop by.
Besides you are Waaaay to fast for me still.
Remember this is still only a Vette. LOL...
This much money into my Camaro and I am running 8.50's.

El, yup time to kick it up a notch.
You have to be on your game to go through all those rounds and win the Corvette Challenge.
Sometimes what? Close to a HUNDRED cars! That is sick.
You don't win that with luck.
Now that I have a Vette, I'll be sure to hone my LapTop Skillzzz.

Yeah, exactly I never wanted to cut into the Camaro.
I may tune the Camaro back a little and take the kids for rides and go to cruise nights and stuff with it. Not sure actually.
-or-
I may sell it, I never wanted to, but you never know.

Done deal!
Besides, now that I have a Corvette, I can get a good (shallow) replacement.

Thumbs up

And to think I was SO close to buying that very car!

It truly is an awesome ride with LOTS of potential to go really really fast.
Can't wait to see it fully dialed in and competing regularly in the CC Pro 10.0/Pro 10.5 events, enjoy it Steve.

Blue's Clues is the height of your investigative skills!
