Thumbs up Congrats to Rick 'Firehawk441' for busting right through the 8 second barrier!

Rick ran an 8.65@159.32mph on a 1.31 sixty foot yesterday at Englishtown with his homebuilt, Cartek tuned beast known as Firemutt.
Much congrats to you bro on this stellar achievement, and there might even still be a little more left in there too.

I've never heard so many people say "Holy sh*t!" at the same time! Barry & I were standing behind the wall next to the waterbox. (packed way more than usual). Didn't matter if they were old timers, ricers, etc. Everyone had something to say. Most said the aforementioned. LOL!

As most of you know and some that may not, this is the very same engine that EASTSIDE PERFOMANCE once set the nitrous LSX record with @ 8.23. They are the true pioneers for the Nitrous LSX cars we see today.
I was fortunate enough to buy this engine from them when they decided to move on to their BB chevy. Thanks Kenny & ESP

Julio from CARTEK takes care of the tuning. Most don't know his Nitrous background. Julio worked on the Pat Mussi car for 5+ years before going into business for himself. He knows what it takes to dump 1000+ HP into an engine and make it live. My 250 shot is just a kiddy toy to him. Thanks for all your help Julio.

I need to thank MADMAN for helping me get back the 60' times I lost when I started spraying this engine. It was harder then I thought it was going to be.

Barry from QTP and George from OTW took care of the exhaust to keep E-Town happy. They built a dual, oval, 3.5" exhaust for the car. Thanks guys.

THESE PEOPLE DESERVE RECOGNITION FOR THEIR PERSONAL TALENTS.

I wanted to squeek into the top 10 Nitrous cars at least for a short time and that has been accomplished. I have no further goals with this car other then to enjoy racing and hanging out with everyone at the track.
Thanks to everyone who's thrown their two cents in during this build. You know who you are.
