Yup, black camaro and the SOM car that signed up for 8.50 index.. in hindsight he should have entered the 10.0 class, car went 10.08 and 10.1, he's just getting his car together and wanted to go with us so that way we could all get a look at the car, see what it's doing, etc.

got a little bit more done...
fabbed up some mounts to support the front of the intercooler (its now complete)
trimmed some areas on the wing to make it fit the car better (so I can use piano hinge to mount to the car). Also located the rear wicker and have it partially installed

got some more stuff done.
cut the cowl back to the windshield and installed a sheetmetal blockoff...got the top part welded...need to do the bottom still...I HATE SHEETMETAL WORK!!!
mounted one of the spill plates on the wing...still need to shape it some to make it aesthetic
mounted the master disconnect and started on the dual parachute mount (pull point). I'm waiting on hardware to mount the chutes...should have early next week

The car looks even better in person. You are doing some really excellent work on that beast. Make sure you update when you have those 'chutes hanging off the back

got the hot side all welded up...unfortunately I gotta redo the passenger side header connection...stainless pulls like a b*tch when welded. the leg is now too short to mate with the header
took almost my whole bottle of argon to weld...back purging sure sucks some gas

mounted the radiator...I can get it high enough to snake a 4" exhaust pipe underneath it (splitting the 5" into dual 4" pipes and running them to the fenders...just behind the front tires)...probably should clearance the shroud some...its pretty close to the hot pipes...but its just a shroud
Got the crossover pipe fixed and welded on the -12AN bungs on the radiator. Also modified 2 hoses to make the connections between the radiator and motor
