Moving to Boston from Chicago! Hey guys,
im moving from chicago to boston (beacon hill area) in about 6 months. whats the good word on the coast?!?!
what places do i have to see? have to avoid? or any other random things?!?! any good garages for my 01 SS to sleep at night? or possibly even share/rent a garage space?!?!

When my girlfriend lived on Beacon Hill I always left my car in the Boston Common parking garage. There is a section of the Bottom floor near the Tremont St elevator against the wall where lots on nice cars are left for long periods of time, it can get pretty expensive but it's close and doesn't see as many drunks on fri/sat nights.

def not beacon hill, unless u wanna live next to a senator...lol, madd money to live there... try belmont, watertown, waltham...alll are 15 min from the city esp beacon hill... ask me how i know
i like where im at Haverhill MA 40 min to boston, 30 min to hampton beach, 25 min backroads to NED, 35 min to manchester NH, 45min to worcestor, all three major highways r 15 min away or less rt 93, 95, and 495.

depends what your looking for. night life and clubs in boston are the best around if you like that stuff. im not a club guy so i dont go. i dont like trafic so i stay away from boston. if you like clubs and bars your in the right spot. if you like shopping, newbery street and **** loaded with shopping. if you have a lot of cash. very expensive. go out of the city theres all types of stuff near by. hooters on rt 1 is great, if your looking for local speed shop indy is right on rt1, new england drag way is about an hour north. around me there are local car shows sundays, tuesday (vett only show) wednesday and thursday. all about 20 min from boston. what are you looking for?
street racing, there is some near me, chelsea is a hot spot, but scarry. they shut down a 2 lane road. lol
in the summer we taake the boats into marina bay. thats a hot spot for sure
