Looks good, I am going to have to pick up some surbuf pads. My DA hasn't been getting much love since I got my makita, so perhaps its time to try it out with some of these pads.

I clicked on the link on Friday here at work and it got hit with a Trojan virus. Needless to say my laptop was out of commision to the IT department for the afternoon on Friday and into Monday.

I'll check out the Surbuf pads. I've used Menzerna for a few years now and like it.

Good job.

Yeah, autopia got hit with a virus. I changed the link to a different forum with no virus. I am still battling what was left over on my pc from autopia.

Well, I just picked up 4 5.5" Surbuf pads and a bottle of #205 to compliment the #105 I have. We'll see what it can do on my wife's black 9-7x.

They work great. Just make sure you have time to do at least a 2 step on the car. The surbufs leave a lot of marring which you can easily polish our with powerfinish and an orange pad.

The pads and #205 should be here on Friday, so I'll get a chance to test them out. Thanks for the heads up.

So I decided to get some Surbuf pads because they were on sale and I have been hearing about them a lot lately. Did a little test spot on the sail panel of my SS. I will have to say that they definitely got some correction quickly, I did find they gunked up quickly though. I have also established that I do not like 105 anymore. I might switch back to Menzerna. I played with some Final Polish today and I enjoyed that. Not trying to hijack your thread, I just don't feel like starting a new thread dedicated to this.

I got mine yesterday as well, but didn't have anytime to try them out yet due to trying to complete some honey-do items. Hopefully I'll have a chance later today or tomorrow.

Yeah, I cant say I am a huge fan of 105. With the surbuf pads just hold your hand on it and turn the buffer on once and a while, it will clean out the pad.

I tried the surbuf pads over the weekend and I like how they don't load up on the product. They seem a lot easier to clean because of it. I did a quick spot on her black saab with the surbuf pad and #105, followed by a yellow pad and #205 and the result was really good.
