It's already an 8 second ride,
How fast do you want it to be for a nitrous car? In the 7's???I think a street car, that runs pump gas 93 with a mild hyd. roller motor with a nice shot of spray is fast no matter how you slice it.
People could say your car is slow for what it is too?
Look at your mph, its low for the ET.
Because you have the suspension working very well, that is giving you a bunch of ET.
NOVI 2000's can make 7 second power. You run 8.50's best in great air.
You have a built motor, race gas, dry sump, power glide conversion etc...a total race car.
Don't get me wrong I think your car is fast, but I am just saying others could think it is slow.
It's a matter of opinion.

Exactly, look up any performance calculator.
It's power to weight ratio.
After that, its getting it to the ground.
After that it is reliability.
I have two of the three.

All that matters is that MY Vette is Faster Than YOURS!
And so is Mike's, Sonny's, Shawn's, Jay's, Dave's, Doug's, etc...LOL
You better start doing something about that and stop worrying about what I post.... LOL

See, now theres something we can agree on. I can definitely see where others would think his car is slow for it's build.
After all it's only the fastest supercharged Corvette, and he did it with stock cubes. Oh wait, that would make it the fastest in its class, so your just a dumb ***.

Well, I was going to come on here with a long winded resume of my top fuel Harley drag days, and where my cars have been and are now, but I simply cannot live the lie anymore. I have to come clean, the stress of carrying a name like 9secvette is just too great to carry.
I do have a 9 second Vette, but unfortunately, it's a Chevette.
It does run nines, but thats in the eighth.
I dreamed my whole life of making it onto Pinks all out with my bitchin Chevette, since we all know thats the pinnacle of racing, but they never pulled an 18 second field. I tried and tried, since that would mean more to me then when my mom lets me watch Nascar all day, but it never happened.
I just came on here because I emulate you so Anonymous, I knew if I didnt break your ***** that you would never talk to me. You are clearly such an accredited racer, and I am proud to say that I spoke to you on line.
I wish I could have the ***** to run an eight second bike, I would give my left nut to do so. I would have to give my left nut, because I lost my right nut in a freak nitting accident. So at best, I'm could only be half the man you are.
You cant understand how liberating it feels to finally release myself from the shackles of this lie I have been living for so long, the shame I have placed on my family, the guilt... oh the guilt, it's terrifying.
