I think I'd offer ~$3200, but that's something you'll have to find the right buyer for.

Flesh wound, the fender rail isn't even shifted, other than the cosmetic damage done to the outside of it. My brother did the same kind of damage to a 1999 Formula. He says "if you can fix it you can have it". $500 later, I've driven it daily for 3-4 months.

No reason to ditch it, if it's your DD, fix it and drive it until the chassis disintegrates lol

Let me guess, the old lady ins. co. wants to total it??

Techincally the car is worth more apart then it is whole.

That's pretty much always the case, but it would really suck to part out and crush an SS over that.

Be smart and fight for the real value of the car if they want to total it. Take it to a real good shop, they will be able to fight for you to get your car fixed correctly

its just an SS, I would be way more torn up over a stripper model z28 with a hardtop instead of the billion SSs that were made. I'm gonna do whats best for my bank account though. Your welcome to save it from the crusher if they do total it cause i will buy it back and sell it.

dont know yet, if they do, i will buy it back and sell it as is cause it still drives, you would have to take a sawsaw to the inside of the wheel well though cause its rubbing real bad. it would be a really good car for an engine swap.

don't think they'll total it.

the criteria is:
1. It cannot be repaired safely
2. It would cost more to repair the car than it's worth, or
3. State laws require the company to call it a total loss due to the amount of damage

that car i don't think is any of those. but if the swap is up for grabs, lemme know lol
