Everyone I know with a G8 that is NA with a A6 went slower
when they put 28" DRs on the rear. It lowered the effective gear ratio too much. It should be the same with a new Camaro. They share the same trans.
When my G8 had 435hp it ran 11.66 at 117.89 with the DA at -260.

Different animals though. I would think the 5th gen has more high RPM power and the A6 surely will help a lot.

I had a TCI long ago which like the vig is a little loose. If those cars weigh almost 2 tons I can only imagine it being worse.
Let me put it this way I have a 4000 stall now and its way too tight for a track converter and has **** STR. It's all about the strator design. My old TCI 3500 was looser and also 60'ed better than this 4000, but its wasn't as efficient up top.
I'm leaning towards a yank ss4000 or a circle d5c 4000. There is more than stall speed to determine a good driving converter that can still make numbers at the track.
