Default Head and Cam installed on my 2010 Camaro......Track next

The car was at Mongillo Motors in CT and got New cnc heads and cam install....Mods are as follows..

Lg Motorsports complete headers/ORP and Exhaust
Mongillo Cold Air Intake
Vig 3600 Stall
Livernois CNC'd Heads
Custom 600 lift 114 lsa cam (for the F1C going on soon)
HP Tuners-Mongillo

Dynod 464 rwhp

Very Happy with the numbers considering stock underdrive, stock intake and stock throttle body......

Just got my weld RT-S's from Texas Speed....now its track time...

Wow, that's great power through an automatic.
And it was dyno'd on those heavy stock wheels/tires no less?

That's 11s all day long, might even be low 11s in that car in good air, even at full weight (but with the lighter/shorter wheels & tires on of course).

A Mustang dyno as well? Damn, that'd be even higher yet on a Dynojet, sounds it might be a very healthy cam.
And yes, 11.3s easily (in the same air).

Comparing my car that went 11.6 and only made 435 rwhp I would say a very low 11 or even tap 10's. Those wheels must make a big weight difference.

Don, the wheels are going on this week so hopefully
They make a difference at the track. I didn't dyno with them and I really think the combo of mongillo's cam with the livernois heads seems to really work, dan millen makes some great stuff

At full weight?
The new Camaros are so heavy that it really takes A LOT of power to get them movin'.
I think the only shot he'd have at a 10.9 (at full weight and with no other mods) would come between November and April but that's only if the track doesn't throw him out long before that (they toss us for only 11.4s with no roll bar now ).

Scott, I assume that those 325s are the really tall M&H drag radials and that you still have the 3.27 gears?

4065lb raceweight. Been thinking gears and lighter wheels.
These are heavy pigs.

I can see the heads working, especially milling them for the lower compression a6 cars.

Dan said mine are stock compression because I told him the blower is going on.... Mark the tires are 28 tall and yes the gears are 327 or 324 something lome that. Car weighs 3850 with me in it at the track with less than 1/4 of a tank.

Cage goes in as soon as he has an opening....lol

Cool, that will help allow you to test and tune your way to lower ETs without interruption.
It also adds a little more weight as well unfortunately.

And that may not help, that tire/gear combo might be good once the blower goes on but NA your gearing is going to be a little weak. The low first gear in the trans will hopefully make up for most of it though.

Nice setup and numbers for what you got done, already stout. F1C huh, go big or go home I see

You will definatley be under 11.5 once you dumped those heavy 20's and get it hooking.

On a stock motor/CR, how far are you going to push it?

I would still go F1-D over the C though. Much better belt wrap and midrange power.

How does the Vig 3600 work? I had it in the '02 Z28 and it was by far the worst convertor I've ever had. I thought it was simply too sloppy on the highway. Part of that may have been becaue the '02s have a lower powerband and have a bit more low-end then my '98 did, so I think a smaller 2800 would have worked better.

What do you think of it so far?
