MoCo area gathering/meet up. Just throwing out the idea of getting together a number of people and hitting up like a chipotle and chillin for a while.
Anyone interested?
No racing or burnouts or anything hooligan related. Just a chill car meet.
Is there any interest?
My current idea is next friday at about 7-8pm at a Area chipotle(can serve people faster).

Chipotle at wintergreen has worked in the past.
Random gatherings tend to promote the community liocally. Where as otherwise unless you already know someone you prob would never get to know em.

10th. Prob gonna see if my old groups will come out as well. Spec-V and Legacy GTs but i doubt mroe than a handful will show. Maybe a few of my local friends as well. So maybe a TBSS and a 400+hp 335i.
jimmy cone in mount airy first and third saturday of every month 5-9 from spring to fall anywhere from 50 to 150 cars depending the weather. youll find everything you could think of and then some.

There are plenty of meets in the area. Sometimes is good to just point them out. I am still wanting to go to a cars n coffee thing in VA. See some million dollar cars.

Well scratch that idea. Im down for this friday. See some LS powered cars. New to this american scene. Used to do similar with the Legacy and Sentra crowds.
If you hit the bottom did you try the other side of the parking lot by the mr tire entrance and ya there is gonna be limited parking if you get there late after everyone is already there. Alot of people come out if weather is good. And if you gonna go to Mt airy jimmy cone and wanna meet up with a number of people pm me cause we will either be there or the race track 75-80 that's ten minutes down the road
Jimmie Cone in Mt. Airy is a great one -- but you do have to get there early (3-4ish). Skull is right about the lot - just enter from the Main Street side of the shopping center and there's no problem -- I've never had a problem on the other side either, but my car isn't lowered.

If anyone decides to go up there, please send me a PM - since I opened my business in Damascus three years ago I rarely get to attend any gatherings and these are close enough I can make them after work. I'll be posting a separate thread for the 75-80 event to see what else we can get going.

Is anyone down for tonight then? if not ill scrap the idea all together for tonight. Starting to think Friday nights arent the best.
