Also if you guys want a good documentary to watch on Netflix its called Fat Head. The first part of the movie is the guy debunking Super Size Me but the second half is all about nutrition and how the body burns fat, broken down very well and easy to understand.
There is a ton of stuff on the internet and youtube as well about the CKD, results, foods and low carb substitutions. There are also videos showing what people use for the 24 hour carb up.
Also, DRINK AT LEAST 1 gallon of water a day, you have to flush everything out. When you start burning a lot of fat your kidneys will be working harder than normal and there are a lot of toxins stored in your fat cells if you previously ate a lot of processed foods. Some people experience a headache for the first few days of starting till those toxins flush.

Thanks guys, reading has been the biggest help..
Learning about the body, it needs fuel and how we burn the fuel and what we do with the fuel makes the difference...DIET (I HATE THAT WORD) must be strict...Unless u have perfect genetics (I DONT)...I cheat one meal and only 1 meal a week...I eat very clean the rest of the week....
REPEAT 1 BAD MEAL and sometimes my bad meal is actually more of the good things just more of it...
Supplementation is a big industry...
There is ALOT of bogus supplements out there, u need to be careful believing what some guys posts on a board...Look for actual studies from reliable companies that do NOT use proprietary staks...
IMO a good multi, fish oil, protien isolate are the top 3
A pre workout can be very good too, I also like a intra BCAA.
I like Dymatize, Scit fit, Controlled Labs, PES,USP,athletix Nutrition, Universal Nutrition and ON... ...JMHO on supplement companies.
I cant stress that eating clean is the most important.
Weight training and cardio will preserve muscle and keep fat lower...
WATER WATER WATER.....1.5+ gallons of water a day
(I drink upwards of 1.5G +)
Its a lifestyle change, and its not easy
I feel very lucky to have gotten my mojo back at 45...(I wish I wouldve done this at 36 but I wasnt in a good head)
Now all I need is a WS6 or GTO to complete the change

Funny u should say that becuase I am not taking any natty test boosters (was on a animal stak, daa, creatine stak) for 8 weeks...Gains in strength were good, actually very good but I didnt check test before or after...I am now going green tea, oxylite, alpha T2 stak and hoping to drop (4 weeks) 7 to 10lbs...Should get me right around 210ish....I will then go to the doctor and have test levels tested...Start another natty test cycle, Its a new company that shows good promise and then retest after 8 weeks..It will be interesting to see if I am low pre because then I could get HRT and that would be the cats meow ;o)

Yes very aware of the stims
I cycle any of them them 4 to 8 on and 4 to 8 weeks off
Wheybolic is awesome, just about the best protien u can buy but too pricey for my budget.
IMHO when u compare it to Dymatize its just not worth the extra cash...
Some of gaspari's stuff is decent.
I like allstarheath.com, bodybuiding.com, nutrplanet.com, lockout.com, just to name a few and these commpanies price things very fairly..
Amazon is also very very good for supplements...
415lb shrugs, yes thats impressive for 179lbs
I am not even in the same league as u.
225lbs for a set of 7 (LAST SET) but I'm getting there slowly![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
Dead lift's a no no for my leg (BAD ACCIDENT IN 93, 7 SURGERIES)
I leg press, leg curl and do hammies, calfs on machines
I do stiff legs every other week (Got to be careful)
I like dumbells better and my body seems to response to them
I do use the straight bar on light cycles.
Honestly just to be able to walk for me is a miracle...
I am blessed and feel very lucky to have gotten motivated again.
Guys like you give me inspiration

Bodybuilding.com is where I buy alot, they must have a warehouse nearby because i always seem to get my stuff within 1-2 days of ordering. You seem like you have the fundamentals, and more importantly the will power to make it happen, let me know if there is anything i can do to help with your training. Keep us updated man i love seeing progress like this happen. Not sure if you follow bodybuilding at all but Kai Greene is one of my favorites and talks about the power of the mind and how if you invision anything you can make it happen. Keep up the good work!

I'm not a huge fan of USB Labs overall but Ja3ked is an excellent pre-workout drink!

I would think just working out in general and eating better has increased his t-levels and put his sex drive through the roof compared to what it was 2 years ago....

Don't you think he would risk a bit of a natural test shut-down then? I could be wrong I just wouldn't want to see him having to go through some sort of PCT just to right the ship again.

Its a serious commitment and something to think about. He may have perfectly normal test levels and not need to worry about it. He should get some blood tests done to find out for sure.

Ah ok. I don't disagree with that at all....
JS,
Did you happen to check the rest of your stats in early 2010? I'm just curious as to how your cholesterol, blood pressure etc would compare to then vs now.

HRT IS SAFE UNDER DR CARE
I believe u only get a 8 week on cycle, off cycle then on again and its only 100CC admin. by your dr.....
Most guys that abuse it take 3 times as much and do NOT cycle
It will not stop nat. test production, just enhance it IF U R LOW
My blood work will be checked and if it is low I would look to an option
The natty test boosters and working out are helpful but fair at best..
HRT would be the true way to get levels back to NORMAL (46yr old male)
My last blood and heart checkup
I have the heart, blood of a 20yr old according to the doc..
Resting HR is 53 NOW (78 BEFORE)
BP 125/75 NOW (150/98 BEFORE)
CHOL 178 NOW (368 BEFORE)
GOOD CHOL DOUBLED NOW (VERY LOW BEFORE)
Tri 42 NOW (124 BEFORE)
A1C 5.6 NOW (6.9 BEFORE)
Basically my dr was in shock, stammering on the phone to give me the news...
Then he asked what I ate, He was silent when I told him because I eat VERY CLEAN AND VERY STRICT and he liked the dedication...
1 BAD MEAL A WEEK, everything else is clean...
I also drink at least 1.5 gallons of water a day..
To get leaner, bigger under a dr's care, wow would that be awesome but imho I think I am going to find out my levels are normal which means I WILL KEEP TRAINING, EATING CLEAN AND RESTING

Here is the article they did on me in http://www.phillyfit.com/
Some of it was written alittle off (car accident vs motor cycle) but everything else is pretty well done...
Kinda amazing they actually put me in print
Never thought in my wildest dreams this would happen
TRAIN HARD, TRAIN SMART, EAT CLEAN AND REST
