Just got confirmation. I should be there. I have the cabin fever bad enough to travel 250 miles to race!

Thumbs down

Hanging with some good friends was fun, but that was about it.
I will likely NEVER attend another one of these types of events again though LOL.

Wow, such a small late model GM turnout?
Most of us late model GM guys at E-town on Sunday eventually regretted not going to Atco instead too.

Was it just packed with ricers?

I think I went to one of those at ETown around 2002 in the Formula and hated it. The ricers made a ton of noise and kept speeding through the parking lot etc.

Why is that? I was going to go, looks like I made the right decision but why?

It was that among other things.

We were pitted way down by the finish line/scoreboards so we were sheltered from most of it for much of the day, between rounds while we were pitted of course LOL.
But once ya ventured up towards the lanes it was a total clusterfv<k, inconsiderate people both walking and in cars alike blocking the path to the lanes, the typical thump thump stereo wars thing goin' on.
The worst was once we were in the lanes, just too many careless people walking around, pit bikes flying by too close to the cars, just loud obnoxious people in general. I never see this kind of attitude at my usual Saturday morning events.
LONG waits between qualifying and rounds.
And the worst part...the one single thing I used to actually appreciate about import events, the hot girls, very few of them there and they aren't even all that hot anymore LOL.

Got there at 7:20am (my choice of course, done to avoid the long lines and that was a smart move at least because tech line was the longest/slowest I've EVER seen at any track ever) and didn't get out of there until 7:30pm.

True LOL, I did/do like that part, we don't get all that many people in the stands when we race at our usual Corvette Challenge/GM EFI events so having a good sized audience was a nice change (though it still wasn't as big as when we raced at the 'Night of Thrills' last summer ).
