Smile Finally cammed

Got my car back from Slowhawk and it feels real strong with the 228R. Drives great too I just have to get use to it. Glad I went there over Esp/NE dyno.

It was right at 370/370 on the mustang dyno. The clutch was slipping at the top. I am thinking about getting an ls7 clutch. Runs great and has power everywhere.

It drives good. I have never owned a cammed ls1 before so its something to get use to. Im very happy with it. The numbers are decent. I think with a better clutch / dyno jet it would have been higher but the numbers dont mean much I guess.

Sounds good man! I have the same exhaust as you but with a V2 Torquer cam. It definitely enhances the lope of the cam

I wouldn't go with an LS7 clutch. Might be ok if you dont drag race or beat the car, otherwise look into something else. Ask Don what he recommends. I bet he wont say LS7 clutch.

Congrats on the numbers and have fun man!!

Did Don happen to say what the duty cycle on the stockers were during tuning? I'd imagine if it were a major concern he would have broached it then.

Its about time you got a damn cam installed.
Ask Don what to do. In my experience he already knows what you need and its a good idea to listen to him. If I would have listened a little more before my build I could of saved some money.
