Hello from CT!
Luckily the neighbors have been very nice and one lady gave us 2 batches of brownies and and another lady wanted to get us gift cards to Chipotle (sp) but i told her thanks but no thanks and that's not needed

I stopped into a holding area with 4 utility trucks there on Thursday with the sole intention of simply saying "thank you" to the crews. After hearing some of the horror stories of people yelling at these guys and one case of residents actually throwing eggs at them
I just felt it was necessary. Trending Topics

having been on the bad end of power outages this past two weeks I too can understand the frustration on some resident's part (especially those with small kids and/or caring for elderly/disabled family members) but come on, many of these line workers ALSO had power out at their own homes and couldn't even be there to protect their families during this.Yes, that's the job you guys have chosen so that part is understood, but to mouth off/come after a guy while he's doing his best to get YOUR power back on in a catastrophic situation/under disastrous conditions is just totally uncalled for IMO.
