OCMD(hotel rates)... I found a post about the same thing from 3 years ago, just figured I'd see where everyone is booking this year and how much the rooms are going for. It's about that time I start shopping for a room lol.

Is it just me or does this year seem more expensive?? past 3 years we stayed between 37th st. and 38th st. and could get a room for the weekend for $350 or less, this year they told me about $550 also.

I looked at hotels for this year, then ended up having 8 people to book for. So we got a house on 26th for $125 a person Thursday-Sunday. It was cheaper than a 2-3 hotel rooms for the same time.

my problem is i can't trust the group off ******** I know to not trash a house when the cars stop and drinking begins... last year i came home to a love seat wedged in my loft and almost everything in the room upside down, pictures were upside down, coffee maker and all stove tops, chairs/tables/ couches, tv... it was ****** hilarious!!! and surprisingly the hotel only charged us an additional $300 lol.

its a long story. my very first time there I was taking a huge 48ft trailer. I called every place on the strip and they said i was beat. I needed a big space blocked off (was bringing a bunch of cars and bikes at one time) I called seabay and the big dog manager answered. I told him what was up and they roped of a big space outback for my rig. got there and the guy was cool as hell. he gave me the big discount and told him I would always stay there just strickly of how well he took care of me. so everytime we go, I just call him up.
