MASS inspection I'm moving back to Mass this weekend, going to need a place to inspect my car. Its probably a long shot, but anyone on here know a place around Franklin, Milford, Bellingham area that will over look a few mods? Please PM me or text me (9109155069) and let me know. Thanks

Honestly, most places will pass you as long as your car is not insanely loud, smelly or have codes/incomplete tests.
How bad is your car in terms of sound and smell? And was it tuned properly for passing the code check?
My friend passes with a cammed/LT/catless setup no problem. All in the tune and if the car doesn't stink then most places won't even look underneath.

Well my car has a 643 lift cam, SD tune, no cats, 1 7/8 LT's, a 4" cat back and absolutely no emissions what so ever on it. It is a bit stinky too, and loud Lol. No check engine lights though, it has been properly tuned. I'm not sure anyone will pass it the way it is now
Was just about to make the same thread. I need to pass my truck as well (before I pull my car out of storage) which has window tint at 5% but everything else is stock. If you find someone please pass the information along!

Your best bet would be a big place like Firestone, Sullivan etc. where they have lots of cars to do and usually put the lowliest techs (read young) doing inspections. Those guys will be more likely to overlook your loud car and just do the usual plug in test.
When I first got my car and it was dead stock I took it to a small local mom & pops place ran by some older guys. They looked over the entire car, put it on a lift etc. Good thing I was stock at that point, no way would I have passed as it was today since those guys probably knew what they were looking for.
Been doing it at Firestone after that and I usually get some young kid doing it and always get compliments at the end so most likely the guy just liked the car and didn't bother to try and really look it over for the loud cammed exhaust.

Verdad Gallardo FWIW, I just went to a new place out here in Watertown and the guy was pretty cool about the car. He noticed all the mods right away and knew what a cam was cuz as soon as I rolled into the bay loping away he smiled and said "nice cam there".
Plugged the scanner in, and within a few minutes I was on my way with a new sticker. My car is pretty loud and like I mentioned lopes pretty well, and it stunk due to having an untuned MAF in the intake (the car is SD but I put it back to pass) and the guy didn't care. If you're all out of luck, you can try out this place.

thank you all for your input. I found a place that is local here in Franklin that will pass my truck (truck has no muffler and a 5" exhaust). AND I have a hookup from my brother in law for my car. Just waiting for some paperwork to come in so I can go renew my license, then get the registrations done, then inspections. Hopefully it wont be too much longer! Looking forward to the nice weather and being able to drive my car around.
Executive auto in bellingham, MA on rt 126. passed me no questions asked on my cammed gto with longtubes, no cats, and LM2 catback and M/T drag radials.

That's one way of doing it...if you're just rolling around in cash I guess it's not that bad.
