I was there racing my 70 Nova. Always a great event, this one seemed to be one of the bigger ones.

It was my first time there, but it was a pretty good turnout. There is another one in August which I am going to go to as well. Any pics of the Nova? If you raced I saw it.

Was pretty crowded, a lot of cars running. I don't recall seeing your car run but I did see it in the pits. A lot of guys from Mass there.

I think my first elimination round wasn't until 4PM. I went three rounds, last round cut a .001 light but the other guy nailed his dial dead on exactly and sent me home at about 7PM.

4 PM sounds about right, but they did keep the racing going pretty much nonstop except for the show winner thing. Hey, did you guys see that big black Plymouth getting sideways in front of the stands after all of the show winners were announced? A guy I knew just pulled up behind all of the winners to he could do a burnout. Goofball.

Track went down for over an hour for the windshield on the track and someone got hurt falling off a golf cart on return row which shut down racing again for a while.

I saw the Plymouth doing the burnout. While all that was going on, you could hear burnouts in the street too as everyone was leaving. That usually ends up on youtube.

True. I saw that windshield blow off of that little Cutlass thing. Lol, golf cart. I was walking around when that happened. I knew somebody got hurt because of the announcer, I thought a car must have gone into the wall or something. And then the hood blew off of that Stude, but that got wrapped up quickly.

I guess it was down for a good amount of time in general though, you're right.

This event looks like it was a good one. I went to one a couple years back, drove 7 hours or so, only to get there and for it to start raining bad about 20 minutes after we got there and the event was cancelled. We were so pissed about that.

Yeah, I saw previous years vid's posted online. A lot of pumped up drunk people yelling at you to do a burnout when you leave. I gave em a taste. Just a little taste.

i almost went , but just didnt have any cash to get it , for gas , and then for a t shirt i would have wanted . My dad and bro went just to look around , said lots of new car. challengers were the most abundant.

Yeah, def a lot of challengers with 847 inch rims. That was kind of annoying IMO. All in all a good mix of cars and a lot of really nice stuff.

It was a great time and sooo many cars. I don't know the car show count but there was over 300 race cars. Best part, no annoying imports.

We went up with the gto 1st pass had a fuel leak out of the injector done for the day other then that was a really nice day and lot of nice cars
