Price is great and the vig 3600 has put some stock internal cars into the 11`s on drag radials.
To be honest I cant believe knowbody has picked this up yet. hehe. If I wasnt doing this 4l80 conversion it would be in my car.

I'm interested, just got to look at all my options and make a decision. i got a Vig 3400 on the table for $450 so.... this is driving me nuts

HE just bought a yank pt4400 and is looking to move the converter. IF you are looking for just a cheap deal you can pick up that one .It definitly is working well.

Buy a unused converter, and have your trans done up by someone nearby, Marco. Believe my experience--I have been down this road before..... (Old Guy--you know?) You will be much happier. Funny things happen w/transmissions AND rear ends. Person performing the work makes ALL the difference here. Best of luck and spend your $$ wisely. WJ
Yeah I think i made my decision, I'm just waiting on buddy from SRA to call me back to go over everything. Hes 15-20 minutes from my house. If something goes wrong i can bring the car to him. Hes giving me a 1 year warranty, where most are just giving 6 months, and if something goes wrong from the mail order trannys i have to ship it out. this is just more convient and I have confidence he build me a solid tranny.
Now I need to buy a converter, I have to get that new too or I'm gonna kick myself in the *** if something is wrong later. Offaxis's vig 3600 looks like the best deal going. That will save me the money i was gonna save with another tranny.
Cousin just bought a 2000 Ford Lightning and hes talking way too much smack for a stock truck. Cant wait to get this tranny and rear end in, car is gonna haul ***

I eat the Lightnings for lunch. There's a couple of good heavily modded ones around, but the stockers w/changed blower pullies and drag tires usually are low 13 second, or very high 12 sec. sleds. offaxis Vig 3600 is a great deal. New they're what? around $800 shipped? Has that trans guy you know done any performance 4L60E's?? WJ
