Any Custom Cam
918 valve spring's
Hardened pushrods
LS2 timing chain
all gaskets
new oil/antifreeze
full installation and LS1 Edit tuning.

very interesting.....what custom cams are we talking about here, cutoms grinds you have come up with? Also is it possible to work it out with double springs?

Every car owner likes different thing's.We've tested alot of Cams and I have certain one's that perform the way I like them too.Some people want all the power and don't mind the crappy idle,some people want a smooth idle with alot of torque --see what I mean

Yes,we can work in double springs.The 918's work on most of the Cams I use though.

Sounds good, I see what you're getting at.

We'll see how the funds go....after the tax return and all, Id like to get a 9 inch in there first.

Hopefully Ill have the cash by March, if not it will be sometime soon after that.

im testin how much power my 10 bolt will hold its only got 5k mils or so on it,if it lasts a lil while good,if it snaps the first time out just more of a reason to sink down the loot for a new rear

Of coarse the parts are new No retainer's with that deal.You are talking about upgrading to duals,those will have retainers.

if you have edit with Don then its safe to assume you dont need to repurchase it

Don,
I really like the 224 cams out there. Although would a 224/224 114 be a good selection to run NA for a little while and then work well in a FI application later. Or should I go w/ something like a 224/227 114 right from the start, or even a little bit smaller? I do not want to really go any bigger than the 224 spec.

So any good recommendations on a good all around cam? I don't want a dyno queen or a 10 second car ultimately. Just something with respectable power and good street manners, that might work good for both NA and a FI application.

I can do a better Cam than the 224's.Better midrange power

What are your ideas? Remember I still want decent mileage and not have to worry to much about inspection time. Will your idea work well both NA and FI?
