its only got 5k mils or so on it,if it lasts a lil while good,if it snaps the first time out just more of a reason to sink down the loot for a new rear

No retainer's with that deal.You are talking about upgrading to duals,those will have retainers.
I really like the 224 cams out there. Although would a 224/224 114 be a good selection to run NA for a little while and then work well in a FI application later. Or should I go w/ something like a 224/227 114 right from the start, or even a little bit smaller? I do not want to really go any bigger than the 224 spec.
So any good recommendations on a good all around cam? I don't want a dyno queen or a 10 second car ultimately. Just something with respectable power and good street manners, that might work good for both NA and a FI application.
