Well, if you haven't heard. I wrecked my car on 2-13-05. Falling asleep behind the wheel, on the highway, hitting curbs and flipping over. I am just fine though, luckily. I got the call a few moments ago from my insurance agent stating that it has been Totalled.
I yet have to wait for the call from the Company themselves to settle worth and modification receipts. I will then let you know if parts are for sale and such.
Sorry Don for all your great work gone to waste, but it may appear I'll be getting something that you can tune again.

count yoiur blessings, I fell asleep at the wheel and now reside in a wheelchair....car is just a pice of metal like JS said.

 

It's a good thing you're ok, bro. Like they've all said, no matter how much we love them, they're just cars. It's the people in them that are important.

I started falling alseep at the wheel on Saturday night so I pulled over and spent the night in a Shaw's parking lot sleeping in the car. Definately good advice I got from a friend.

 

sucks for the car todd but your ok and hopfully you get some of the cas for the mods back .
your ok and can get another toy then the money goes back into mods

 

Yes, I am fortunate to be alive. The car will be replaced . . .Just I have no idea when. Thinking '04 GTO and save the $10k right off the bat. Put My STS turbo, of course all new piping, nice 19 inch wheels and maybe a new hood. then just make sure it doesn't break. But I have to wait and see with what the insurance settles at.

Just thought of something. Keep some NoDoz in the car so if you feel yourself starting to fall asleep just pop a pill. If you gotta go to bed anytime within that week your screwed. Then again, it's nothing a few shots of vodka and Nyquil wont fix, TRUST me!

my passengers side wheel has curb rash so bad that it almost failed tech at NED. Passed out driving to some girls house in newport after a night of drinking. Luckily i woke up in time and steered the car away.

Glad your ok, and like everyone said cars can be replaced.

 

i hate to hear of another car being totalled, but cars can be rebuilt, took me awhile to realize that my car can be fixed and the world wont end *i gained some maturity after alil spill*. seriously thank god ure ok, losing a car is a shame but losing a life is devistating.
