Default Powerdyne S/C kit in forsale forum?

There is a powerdyne ls1 kit in the for sale forum for $2K. Are they any good? Price is right. Head unit has 500 miles on it.

probably one of, if not the worst supercharger kit on the market. a guy i used to work with put one on his t/a and i dont think it ever ran over 3 or 4lbs of boost with it. like don said dont waste the money. 2 grand will get ya a nice nitrous setup

Rather go Cam than NO2, but? I thought the only problem w/Powerdyne is trying to bost above 6#. I heard they were ok @ 4-6 psi. 400rwhp range is good for me.

chatter went away little by little by 300 miles. i still dont even have a 1000 miles on it yet, but no more chatter, and it feels real good so far. havent been able to get a real good feel for it, because i sill need to update the master cylinder, which we'll be doing in a couple weekends. but so far i like it a lot. it is supposed to be able to hold around the same amount of power as mikes spec 5. you should be happy with it

Why the master? I need to update the slave. What is the cost on a master?

i think it was around 100 bucks. i did the slave the same time as the clutch, but the clutch doesnt engage as quick as it should without the master.

That's the plan. I'll talk about the cam with Don when he does the clutch. Gotta make sure I keep beating that pesky 03 Cobra.

Dave.. emmission should be no problem.. CT's just gonna plug into your dash, as long as that all says o.k., and they can see cats under the car... you should be good to go. You won't have to have the car sniffed, they are only sniffing cars old enough so that they don't have OBD2. Cam it up, the man won't be able to say a word.

The powerdyne is junk for a couple reasons 1 they are self contained oil system it is junk they end up blowing alot. 2 the way it is built never makes enough boost. 3 nitrous feels alot cooler hahah

Anytime is good for the clutch install except Monday this week. How about tomorrow, Sat?

As for clutch, not concerned about Emissions, Don't want to lose low end Tq. that is only real concern.
