Default 9 Inch ordered, now some ?'s

Well I just ordered the 9 inch from Billingsley and should be here in a few weeks. Now I just have some quick questions about it, and getting it setup right.

First off, my take it that ill need to use the brake backing plates from the stock 10 bolt. I was also told that I would need to get a bearing pressed into the 9 inch, im not sure if i need to use the bearing from my stock 10 bolt, or if it comes with one.

What else, if anything, will need to be used off the stock 10 bolt.

Also When putting it together is there anything else I should look for? Jay told me that one axle is longer than the other, and he was pretty sure it was the passenger side that was longer.

I just dont want to run into any snags, and get this setup properly the first time.

Lastly, if anyone has experience with installing these and could give me a hand in a few weeks it would be greatly appreciated....name your price(beer, pizza, cash ect)

Thanks,
Mark

I also forgot, the rear has the 1350 yolk, and will this fit fine with the stock driveshaft?

u actually need a 1310/1350 u joint 1310 for the ds and 1350 for the rear and it sucks swapping them. as for the rest your gonna need a hydraulic jack to to press in a bearing. to put the break backing plates on you have to also remove the axels but I assume they won't be in since you have to press the bearing.

Then there is the other minor thing's like an aftermarket torque arm fits like *** and you have to bash the floor for clearance ect.

Yea i was planning on taking the bearings to be pressed at Napa, and bashing in the floor I have no problems with. Now if someone could school me a little more on the DS fitment. The rear has a 1350, so what is going to be needed to get the stock shaft to fit in there.

If its too much of a pain in the ***** Ill prob just get a heavy duty DS that will fit no problems.
