Default New SVT vehicle

The Sport Trac Adrenalin is derived from the next-generation Sport Trac, which will debut in May 2007. The Adrenalin version, which will be introduced some months after the base model, features a 390-horsepower, 4.6-liter DOHC supercharged V8 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive — a first for an SVT product — and AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control round out the package.

LS2 equipped Trailblazer SS debuts next week at the NY Auto Show.

If you want a pickup, the LS2 Colorado SS is in the pipes.

Vette, no brainer, LOL.

Turbo build is progressing. Short block is together, turbo system is 80% mocked. All in all I'd say another month before eveything is running.

SVT has been castrated with the retirement of Ford Guru John Colletti. There is nothing left. The new "man" in charge is named hau-tai-tang.
From here on out, if I want a performance vehicle, I will buy bow tie.

Thank you, Big Mike.

Kids are almost ready to drive themselves around.. so I can get away with the 2-seater. The money issue I can handle, but if Chevy asks rediculous prices- forget it.

Dude that was kind of uncalled for IMO...I will be THE FIRST one to rip on how good Americans tend to flagrantly flock to Asian vehicles/manufacturing and the first one to wave the domestic nameplate flag when it comes to car buying but I would still never single out the people themselves like that, especially when he's basically now a loyal American who happens to be an AVID car enthusiast like this guy is.
But I will agree, John Coletti was 'the man'.

Bob,

You know I am biased, but if I were you I would pick-up a C5. The Cobra or GTO will give you the straight line performance you're looking for but a C5 eat them up when the road gets twisty. It's a buyer's market for C5's right now and I bet you could find a great deal on an 02 or 03 Z06.

Maybe it was harsh. At least the slant part. However, I feel a little bent that the gentleman that is incharge of the Ford Mustang, an American Icon is a foriener. I'm sure he is intelligent and hard working, however there are plenty of Americans that could do a fine job. He has taken SVT, wich by its roots is all about brute American power, combined with classy refinement, and turned it into a factory rice team aiming at the youth low budget import market. I'm sorry, SVT has been destroyed.
