Default Dyno VS dyno in northeast

just wondering what you guys have seen in the way of one shops dynojet VS other shops dynojets. Like if your car made 425 rwhp at shop 1 then with no other mods it made 440 somewhere else. And who do you think has the highest and lowest around

if bothe dyno jets are set to the same correction factor (sae) then I haven't seen more than a 5rwhp difference.

I have gone to NE dyno and made about 10 less rwhp the next day at east side. same dyno jet setup, but maybe different factors.
i have also seen another couple cars come from other shops (no names i dont want to start the "war" but they came to ESP with say 470 and with no mods or tune change, nothing they made say 440-450 it was about 10-20 rwhp less at east side.
also a friends car made around 350 on esp dyno and about a week or 2 later we went to NE dyno and with no change he made a tad over 360.
so yes, i have seen #'s move all over

what about the sae factor it is supose to compensate for the weather. But, a week apart it could have been other things not related to the dyno right.

Is eastsides dyno usually on the low side? And what kind of HP would you say a full weight M6 car is making to trap 119MPH? Anyway my car pulled 417rwhp at eastside last fall and i will be calling them tommorow to see if i can get a tune this saturday for my new TSP duals

well, myself and a friend both dyno'd lowwer at east side, un touched. so i would have to say that there dyno reads a little lowwer then a few others.
Boris had a H/C set up in a full weight TA, 3700+ he made 430 and with a 1.5 60, his car went 117-118. with a tuneup and a little better 60, and 100 pounds lighter, he would have seen 120 IMO

There are shops like myself that will spit out the "dyno" # then retune the car to run the best times/fastest power for the street.Ussually these #'s are lower than the dyno #,It can be as much as 40rwhp.

Just use the dyno for tuning, so you can see immediate differences from tuning. They are more of a tool than anything else.

Go w/the Yank SS4000
It'll feel fairly tight and be awesome on the street.
