Default I'm going to be a grandfather!

My oldest daughter will be 21 in Oct. & I was just informed today that May 14th, yeah May, she's due.
She & her boyfriend already know it's going to be a girl.
Last time I saw her was at XMAS & I've only talked with her on the phone these past few months.
She was afraid to tell me since she's not married & didn't know how I'd react.

The people who work for & with me are already calling me granddad, grandpa & gramps!

I learned from the people who work for me, & not by choice, how to say grandfather in Lao, Vietnamese, Khmer (Cambodian language) & Indian.

I'll be 45 in Sept. & I think that's just too young to be a grandfather!

Congrads!

My wife's sister's husband's sister's daughter (follow that? ) is due in a few months. She's only 17 or 18. Her mother is only 34. She will be a grandmother. That is way to young!

Congrats, Butch. I'm lucky enough to have 3 grandsons...a 12 yr. old, a 9 yr. old, and one that's 2. Already I'm going to little league baseball ,and pop warner football games. Someday, maybe one of them will be a drag racer....WJ

Butch, ya I'm waiting on the hammer to drop on that one, somehow though I'm looking forward to it. That kid(your daughter) is going to need a lot of support so give it to her.
