Default Thanks Don

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...2&forum_id=103
There are very few people in this world you can count on and Don is one of them. See my tale of woe on the link above. Long story short, a simple request that Mirak chevy in Arligton, Ma replace 2 wheel bolts that were stripped. Well they had to get greedy and screw with the Column lock recall, even though I told them not to. Yep, they reflashed the computer and all hell broke loose. Idiots!! Now there are two things that make me nervous about the vette. One is getting hit and the other is the electronics and the PCM. Don diagnosed the problem right away, it was a fried computer. Put back the old tune and thank God it worked. Thanks too, for Keith at Imperial Chevy for quick action to replace the computer. I got lucky this time.

Griff told me you work up there. I felt bad for the guy. He was very apologetic, I think he knew he really screwed up and was embarressed because everyone at Mirak knew he did. Maybe the pressure of an extra buck by the dealership made him do it, who knows? He just wasnt thinking at the time. Why did Al Leave?

Keith works at a great dealership, Imperial Chevy in Milford MA.

I am bringing the Vett in next week for a inspection sticker, I will make sure and tell them to not do the recall and mess up Don's handy work.
