GOT My letter from the PA state police. Im taking my test again july 9th. I took it before but I was number 600 out of 2000 people I believe. They told me if I was 400 and better I had a good chance but if u werent u need to take the test again. O well hopefully I do better this time or maybe Ill just go up to the great state of MA and become a pig. Then we can see how big u new england fans mouths are

The testing process is really a PITA, after the written test there's the oral interview, then the physical fitness exam, then the polygraph, then the background check, etc., etc., Your experience might be different but it took me an awful long time to be rejected :p

I took the MA state police test twice back in the late 80's.
I scored 82 on one & 88 on the 2nd & then got 5 points added for my military service & I never even got a call.
When I lived in Derry NH in the early 90's I took their police test & was never told the score.
I stopped taking police tests because I know I'm as smart, if not smarter than most of the cops I see & I also know it's "who you know" allot of the time.
