Default No petcock on the GTO rad?

I'm pulling the cam as we speak but one thing puzzles me
The GTO looks to not have a Radiator petcock,I cant find it anywhere?

So far, coils, valve covers, cai, rockers, prs are off...I still need to pull and drain the rad,tb,wp and front cover, should have it ready for the cam in about 2hrs...

Anyone know if I'm just missing the petcock?

Hey Joel...

Maybe I missed the cam thread, but why not go with the TR 224 again? I love the cam and it idles damn near stock.

Just curious, that's all.

I didnt want ANY lope in my GTO....
I also went with a 8 degree split as to compliment the shorty headers that I'm running, this cams timing events are more suited for the shorty design...

I'll be going with some kind of forced induction over the winter and this cam should compliment the induction...

Gotcha....

I actually eliminated almost all of the lope by putting in a driver's side poly motor mount. But I understand the reason behind going with the 8 degree split to help the exhaust.

Makes sense.

Hows the project going Joel? I cant wait to hear what that cam sounds like. I'm curious to see how docile(non lopey) it sounds.
