question about NED

in the rulebook online it says that you must have a muffler. do they mean a chambered muffler i.e. flowmaster, or gibson. or a general muffled exhaust i.e. cats etc. ????

They are just looking for a muffled exhaust, any kind of muffler will do. Your system doesn't have to be DOT legal.

If they do catch you with an open cutout or even an electric cutout, you will probrably get the boot (kinda sucks if you have a long drive). However, at street night they usually don't tech cars that well, depends who you get for a tech and what you tell them your going to run.

ive ran my car there with mac headers, off road y, and slp loudmouth without a problem. i dont think they have ever even looked under my car to be honest with u so u should be all set

You havent raced in like 10 years tho. LOL

i run headers, about 4" of pipe, a spiral flow Bullet muffler, and turn downs, and thats fine.
