Unhappy I need a new engine - speed shops help!

My 98 SS 6 speed has a major metallic banging from the engine. The local Chevy dealer says the engine probably has a spun bearing. The SS has 105,000 miles on it. At first I was thinking of having the engine rebuilt. Now, I am thinking of have a LS6 #12498399 installed. What I am looking for is a speed shop willing to perform the swap; install the LS6, and dyno the engine, etc. I understand that I need a LS6 intake and a few other componets.

If a shop is willing to do this install, contact me, my home email is listed, or contact me at my office number, 607-798-5784.

Thanks.
Fred

Slowhawk (Dez racing), TTP and Cartek are cool shops from what I've seen first hand.

We have numerous packages that we offer. You'd honestly be better off having a shop build a forged motor, which is going to withstand good power and probably be less than buying a crate ls6 motor. You can check out our packages half-way down on this page.

I have TTP's Stage I engine. No problems at all. To make you feel a little better my original engine only lasted 25,000 miles due to some shady parts and installs .

I have CARTEK do my work, but any of the shops mentioned would work. Are you planning mods?
