Slp Day!!!! Who's Going????
I dont know how many people know, but SLP day at Englishtown, NJ in October is a blast. Hundreds of Camaros, Trans Ams, GTO's, Mustangs, Grand Prix GTPs, Corvettes, and anything else SLP sponsors. You can get killer deals on items such as exhausts, wheels, suspension stuff, and accessories. Its a car show and also drag racing. Too bad the past 2 years the Mustangs have been eliminated in the first round by Camaros/Firebirds lol, thats great. So, I was wondering how many people were thinking of going? Cause its mad fun on that day. They give SLP things away for free, they have raffles and give away complete rims and tire sets. Last year I think they had a free dyno machine. A lot of people come out, and a lot of American Muscle comes out. So, just curious to see who's going this year. I know I will be with my WS6 Trans Ams, and my father with his 1991 Firebird Forumla Show Car/Race Car.

i went last year for the first time minus my car, it was pretty fun. not that many people as i expected though. the way my friend made it sound, i expected a lot more. the cars running had to get at least 10 runs in at their leisure. I'm going to try to take my car down there this year, but it's wayyyyyyyyyy to early to plan

I always meet up with a bunch of people at a rest stop on the garden state and we all ride down together. Usually we have about 15 or so f-bodies with a vette or two. Last year's wasn't that great, I had a lot more fun the year before. The ride down was the best part.

When they used to have it in the spring and didn't charge, they used to get huge turnouts and it was alot of fun. I remember only getting in 2 passes one year. Haven't been going since they moved it to October and started charging, but if I'm free this year I may give it a shot

driving down is the fun part. Cause everytime you see a F-body or whatever, you know there going to Englishtown. Last year me and my dad were going and there were like 5 camaros and firebirds following behind us in a line. Yea, they didnt charge 2 years ago, oh well, still worth it I think. People put there cars for sale down there, so you may find a car there. I only got 2 practice runs in last year cause there were so many cars. Its only a 20 minute drive for me. Funny to see all the Mustangs getting spanked by camaros/firebirds.
