Thumbs down ya so i got my 12, just not the way i wanted to...

ya well i would have figured it would feel better to get it once i did, but well this isnt how i wanted to get it. i should have known by now that LVD is NOT the place to race on a street/t&t night. it says something when the one time i hooked nice the stupid *** timers didnt work right. got my 1/4 time and r/t but nothing else, not even speed. the only other time i hooked decently was soon ended by some *** in an SRT 10 ram quad cab that drug water up to the line and then for the first 60 to 100 feet.... and then because they thought i blew something they went and cleaned up they thought was some type of trans or diff. fluid only to find water... how nice of me to show them were it was... not to mention the weather was extremely humid. well on my 2 all motor runs both were 13.2 with a 2.2 and 2.01 60's. and yes the nittos were hot and sticky as i did a good 15 second burnout. the best 60 i could hit was a 2.00 best run was a 12.61 at ? told ya all i got was the time, followed that up with a 12.71. there is soooo much more in this car and i cant wait til oct 7th to show what it really has. thanks for reading guys.

Congrats, Must be a good feeling to finally have it even if you weren't happy with the runs.... Now with a good track, good weather and a little more practice you should easily be in the low low 12's!

thanks. on the plus side though i did get 5 runs in, not bad for a wednesday night. they seem to have found a much more efficient way to move the lanes. but there was a ton of bikes there. it was funny when i was going through the tech lanes the tech had me pop the hood and goes "woah what do we got here" pointing at my window switch and solenoid, i laughed and said thats my flux capacitor, wait til u see what happens when i hit 88 mph

Thats awsome. Well now that it's no secret any more.... what size shot were you using? And did you have it on the dyno with the nitrous? Just curious what you put down?

Yeah between the ricers, lack of prep, and now noise restrictions I gave up on LVD street nights. I was up 2 saturdays ago, and I gotta say I was hooking really well, especially when they let me run in the slicks lane (I was on MT DR's) though missing trap speed, hopefully due to the weather.

Even if I don'[t go to run the car, I'll go to help out or whatever, unless the car's in the shop with a motor mod in progress.

Gimmie a call tonite.. I should be home for a while. If not, I'll get in touch with you in a couple weeks when I'm home

Oh, by the way, the rear seat, and seatbelts as well as a couple other "uneeded" items left my car last weekend... ask Chef how he thought it ran

Wait until the next mod goes on..... should be intresting.

before the retune it was 287rwhp/325 tq. when he dropped the timing it dropped to like 275 to 280 rwhp and like 290 to 300 tq. he fattened up the air/fuel real nice. cant feel a difference from before and after

thats always fun too if my deployment gets called off ill be reenlisting in february to the sum of 3 years for $7500, or maybe 6 years for $15000.... not too mention that those numbers are likely to go up so if i do 3 years its gonna get a rough idle, built tranny, and beefed up 10 bolt. and if its the 6 year plan its gonna built motor, tranny, 12 bolt and its gonna sound like a jet.... only time and motivation will tell
