Sounds like the same problem I had on my '99 ws6, it was just a fuse or something in the passlock, I had it flat bedded to the dealer, I don't think there is anyway around it, but I'm not sure??

of course make sure the battery is charged/connections are good on the battery and the starter. Usually if its the passkey the security lite will flash. You can easily delete passkey with hp tuners/ls1 edit. There is also a way to measure the resistance of your key and buy a resistor and splice into the line that goes to the ignition cylinder.

Yeah, the security light is on. TTP supposedly deleted that function however? i checked the battery and the starter i doubt is the issue.

try locking the doors and shutting them
then open the driver door with the key
then open the trunk with the key not remote
leave open for a few seconds
thats how i bypassed it on my gfs cobalt when it happened at 12 a.m. after a concert in the parking lot the onwers manual should also tell you how to bypass it

Yeah, im thinking its an ignition or electrical problem. I dont think its the security system anymore. Anyone have any other suggestions to try? I tried all the suggestions.
