Lets Cook Some Rice ! Hope to see you guys in NOVEMBER on SUNDAY 13th at RACEWAY PARK in ENGLISHTOWN NJ for the
BF Goodrich Street Wars 3. High Tech Import VS. U.S. MUSCLE. Pro Import Shootout. Open to First 500 racers only. Open 9AM. Eliminations 2 PM. 1/8 Mile Closed. No drag slicks. Drag radials OK (ie;BFG Drag radials) Other street Tires are OK also. Here comes the Pain !

So if they limit it to 500 cars, they will be 450 14+second imports, 10 13-second imports, 10 12-second imports, <10 11-second imports and roughly 10-20 domestics. At least that's the way it was a few years ago when I went to one.
The sad thing was, there had to be at least two dozen fwd imports that grenaded their trannies and motors in the first 60' but the first and only f-body that broke a rear the whole crowd cheered....
I swore I'd never go back.

whats the adv times for the cars there. I know a majority of imports are slow but there are some pretty quick ones too so i dont know how much of an *** whooping i would do. I run 13.0 at the moment and just ordered a few parts and should be running low 12's in a few weeks or so.. What do you think.

From what I remember, they break up the classes as such:
16 seconds and slower
15.00 - 15.99 second
14.00 - 14.99 second
13.00 - 13.99 second
12.00 - 12.99 second
11.99 and quicker
Essentially they will put all domestics in one lane and the imports in the other. I went in '01 or '02 (I forget) and it took forever to get through the 15 second and 14 second brackets. In those classes it was mostly import with a couple cavaliers, neons, ect.
In the 13, 12 and quicker brackets, it was mostly f-bodies and vettes with only a handful of imports, primarily some turbo eclipses and a couple supras. By the time I got to the staging lane (12 second class), it was 2 solid lanes of domestic.
Things may have changed with the intro of the WRX's and Evo's as well as the SRT-4s. Plan on getting there real early because you will be surprised how quickly 500 imports will show up.
Enjoy and park in a safe area.
