Default thank you :)

Special thanks to Don, like always, for being freaking awesome and taking time to fix my car up before racing today. I can't thank you enough for everything. Also thanks to keith for getting me that part in 24 hours so I could race today , you are the best next to Don. Thank you Andy for helping me with the tires, and thank you Mike for teaching me the right way to do it since Andy forgot. It was also nice meeting some new faces today and it was nice seeing everyone else
And thanks chief if you're read this for hooking me up with the et streets, they make a big difference
It was also nice seeing that vette run, even for only a few feet

LVD? King of the Hill is this weekend. Its a pretty big race between the regulars...you don't want to go, T&T is like 65 or 70 bucks because there's an $8k purse I beleive. You won't get many runs in. I plan on going on the 29th or 30th - thats the last weekend they're open...though with the way things have been going something (rain probably) is bound to prevent that from happening.

your right everything is going to be all screwed up from that race, although i much rather go to LVD on a regular weekend than to NED, everything is run much smoother if u ask me...well then i guess its back to NED on sunday, we'll have to see, if theres good weather maybe we can get a 10.90

Stretching it just a little, aren't you, kid??? Don't expect your best at LVD. NED's sea level altitude is worth a tenth on any given day, plus the launch pad is way better at NED..... WJ

my fathers car will run a high 10.90 no problem. hell on sunday with the crappy track conditions and all he got a 1.498 60' thats only 7 one thousands worse than matts and that was with crappy track conditions. we did the math. even with his car spinning, it got a 7.19 which would translate to a 11.15, which is just a general idea. that doesnt include the snorkel which is now 4 inches wider than the stock one. the snorkerl doesnt even come into effect until the last 1/8th mile anyways. matt ran a 11.0 without the snorkel and with no interior. so the interior (rug included) is a tenth and a hlf in the 'bank'. plus better track conditions, plus the snorkel, plus the motor is def. making a few more horse now because its def. a lil looser than when he had it. not to mention when he ran that 7.19 he hit the limiter going in to 3rd, hard. so no i dont think im a little far fetched, mark my words it will get into the 10's if the track is in ok shape on sunday (that is if we go) heck and if thats not enough, we'll just have my mom drive it, she's 75 pounds lighter.

the weather changes every 10 minutes and that is almost a full week away, the weather man cant predict you day in advance this year so it might turn out to be a perfect day, or atleast we can hope.

Wish you luck, BUT in drag racing, there is no such thing as "in the bank." You'll find that out the more you race.... You are what, 17 yrs. old? No dis-respect, but there are people here that were drag racing while you were still shitting your diapers--and even before that... WJ

Have you spent time messing with the tuning at the track? We got my buddies car from 11.20 to 10.91's by changing around the tune at the track. The car actually lost 30 "dyno"hp.
