Back in the day whenI had my mustang, I never got around to putting it in.. kid that bought my car did.. and it went from 12.0 to 10.0 almost overnite.. I think the only thing hs idi was add slicks and the nitrous.
I'm looking foreward to getting to a rental to get teh suspension stuff dialed in good, and see what it runs n/a, then I'll get a kit on there, and really go get kicked out, so I have full justification for the cage.
Then I'll have full justification to start another motor too.... and hopefully have it done and ready to go in the car before the stocker down what yours did

Sounds like a plan. I hope it all works out. There should be several good events this year. I'm thinking of giving my car just enough umph to break into the nine's this season 
. If I get kicked off the track becuase I only have a 6-point cage, I'll back off the juice and run tens again 
. I don't know if I want to put a 10 piont cage in my car yet. We'll see what happens after the adrenalin starts to pump through my viens again

We'll see what happens after the adrenalin starts to pump through my viens again . I hear ya there.. I'm debating if I want to go to a full 10 pt right off, or do a 8 pt. I'd just do a 8 pt and convert it to a 10 if need be, but the problem is the tubing diameter rules are differnet for a roll bar and a full 10 pt cage... would be an easy choice if the rules were the same size tubing for everything... stupid nhra. Before I even need to worry about it I need to go down the track and actually need it first, so until that happens, I'm not gonna worry about it. I'm 100% htat it will happen this year, just want to take one step at a time. And the first step is getting the th400 in and working and getting the shocks on the car, and some new rubber. Probably gonna try to do some more weight reduction too... a/c I think is gonan go bye bye, and while I have the rear plastic off to do the shocks, I'm gonna at least pull the rear speakers... dan radio hasn't been anythign other thena clock to me for the last 2 years anyway, I see no point in keeping it. Once the carpet backing is off, it will be so loud in teh car there's no way I'd ever even hear it anyway

JL ws6, Sounds like you know what your looking for. I hope all works out.Traction control, ABS, and air conditioning save a lot of weight. If you need fresh air, you always have the T-tops

You know you can run the # this year.. Brad has proven it with his car over and over, all you need is to work the car so you can up the shot another 75 from where you are, and 9's are in the bag.... so you knwo what that means.
Brad's gonan rock 8's no problem this year. With 400+ ci, and 2 stages and a powerglide, it's easy, it's running 8's without a doubt.

I haven't really put anything on in about the last 7 months, just put all teh weight on that I lost about 2 years ago.. and it doesn't seem to want to get lost again LOL.
Brad, I'm hoping my car is at 3500 this year with me in it... if I get it that light, then the 11.4 or better I'm hoping for on motor is gonna get beat for sure.
