Boris...I know you'll hit it man! I also know its easy for me to tell you to spend the money, and time and change your car forever. Not so easy for the guy holding the wallet!
I feel like a dog compared to you guys...all I want is a sub 11.5 this summer!

Whip, I bet you'll hit your magic number. I have no doubt . You've put consierable amount of time and and money into that puppy. This year is tight, but I'll get somthing done. Homes have to come first, because without a home and a happy girl--life can get pretty shi@#y . Every now and then you have to do whats right. Don't get me wrong, if I had endless cash, I'd do both .

JL WS6, I believe that you'll make your numbers as well . Regardless to how we all do this year, just remember that it's the fun of the sport that keeps us comming back .

Damn, and I was hoping you were gonna sell me that NX kit LOL.

That's allright, you're gonna need that NX kit to catch up to me with teh lead I'll have when I drop the transbrake action on ya!!

This summer's gonna be a blast. I can't wait to go to the track and have a tech guy tell me to go home after I make a full pass for going too fast with no rollbar... tha's gonna be a great feeling for sure.

I got the tq arm and loop ordered, the flywheel should be here this week I think, just gotta call summit and get the shifter, tranny cooler, lines trans temp guage, and that will give me everythign I need to get the car to the shop to get the tranny in, then a set of tires and the shocks, and low 11's here I come! Looks like I'm going with the 275 60 15 e.t. radial this year, gonna give those a shot, see how they work, and a radial fron for the bogarts, found some that are the right size for 30 bucks a piece, load rating says they are good for 1200 lbs, hopefully that's enough. I know my car's a pig, but I don't think that there's 2400 lbs sitting on the front tires, even with me in it LOL.

i will prob just do a 100 shot for now as i dont think the high mileage short block will be long for this world with much more than that, but if things go as planned and i can pick up a beater to drive then we will see what she can handle

if i can go faster than Jason this summer that will be enough for him to step it up to what he knows has to be done

That's it. I'm buying a hitch for my truck and a tranny cooler, mine as well just add it all into the summit order I have to make anyways.

wonder if I can get brad to spot me an old DP kit he has laying around.... kiss that #7 goodbye LOL.

:phone ringing: "Hello World Products"

Me: I'd like to order one fo those WARHAWK blocks that you are making...

:phone ringing again: "Hello ET cylinder heads"

Me: Yes, I'd like to place an order for a set of those canted valve ls1 heads you have there, yeah, the ones set up for the warhawk block" for the extra studs.

:phone rings again: "Hello, Quick Time products"

Me: Hi, how ya doing? I have a tall deck warhawk block motor with the ET heads on it in an f body, you guys feel like custom building a set of 2 inch primary headers into 4 inch HV merge collectors for a all out power effort?

Now, gotta start calling around to find someone to back half my **** and 4 link it, be damned if I'm gonna try to put that to the ground on anything less

Call me in about 9 years, and let's play, I should be about done by then

At least you could get it done in nine years. I would't have a prayer at all.

I would get the if I tried to spend that kind of loot.

Unfortunately, age is starting to play a large factor, and I think my girl wants a ring somtime soon. That means that modification money is going to be on hold for a little bit. She is 26 years old and her clock is ticking. The good end of the deal is that, I can buy myself some more time.

Whipped one hell yeah. I got married, and am doing more now then I was before.. but I have pretty much retired from toy car racing, so that's where most of the $ is coming from for the transam.

The warhawk motor I figure with teh ET heads will be abotu 25 grand by the time it's done, probably take me 2 years just to get all the parts. And with my luck, it will blow up and catch the car on fire as soon as we start it... that would be about on par for my luck LOL.

New recruits, my ***. Pacing your self doesn't mean quiting. I still love racing and I'm not going to quit. I just have to prioritize. You got to have a stable home before anything else. Racing is still something I love to do very much.
