Well the only reason I ask is bc I know of a local engine builder who just finished a forged 5.4 L motor that is being paired up with a turbo. The combo is being put togethre by another shop and it is all going into a 2000 lightning........

No, but I am very interested. It seems the biggest restriction to these trucks is the blower itself. Several people have seen 700+hp, even on stock blocks when switching to the hair dryers. I would have to drive one first, to see if you lose the "street fun" (instant boost and low end torque) that the blower provides. THat, and I'm not ambitious enough to be a guinie pig. I'll let others test them first. There are probably 20 or so turbo lightnings running the streets, or will be by summer, that I know of, but none around here. If you find his name, let me know.

Hey, I'm down in Charleston SC. I was planning to be home for summer...but now that I am womanless and have large mod bills to pay, I may stick around a little longer. I know I'll be kicked out of NED for no cage, so hopefully I can do the southern good ol boys racing for a while before they ask me to leave....I REALLY don't want to cage my truck yet.
