you should go with a new set of heads that will compliment your cam, with the oil pump and timing chain etc. etc. and THEN worry about the turbo kit. And sell me your LS6 intake! I prefer naturally aspirated rather than any power adders, i.e. nitrous, turbos, superchargers, etc.

Ls6 intake is already sold. I would change cams if I decide to go with the turbo set up. Timming chain was done with the cam.

turbo isnt for you dave...and unless you got 15k for the right SMALL kit/fuel system/forged motor/clutch upgrade/labor/etc/etc/etc..dont even try it. Get some heads a bigger then the little 224 and a 75 shot...your motor would at least last alot longer.

Or spend 4k on a procharger and another 1000 or so on a minor fuel upgrade an go for 500rwhp. It will last a little while before you will need a forged motor. But I will say unless you got endless money, do it once an do it right. I am over 10k from what i thouht it would take 5k+ being just fuel stuff. I spent another at least 25-30k to get this last setup correctly...you can expect to spend at least half that to do it right with turbo, and in your case probably even more since i have everything else bullet proof already, like the locker, cage, all tubular k members, a arms, lcs's...you get the point

liek mikes says dave if you go turbo dont forget the little stuff it adds up REAL quick. also the 10bolt will not take to well to the power of the turbo . and also plan to get gauges like a wideband for starters.

where do you wanna be at ? make that decisson first then decided heads/turbo/nos ect

They're right! You have to build the car first before the motor!

If cash was not an issue, It would already be turbo or Procharged. Kind of just...............resisting the urge to use the credit card and go FI.

I'll be happy to get done with the intake. I have total lack of motivation to do it now. I may try to get it in on Sat. I would like to finish it during the week, but................
